WHERE IT ALL BEGAN: RICHFIELD, WI
Owner and inventor of our products, Jerry Mueller of small town Richfield, WI, started an asphalt paving business out of his little country home. Jerry was told by many in the business that he just needed to hire a foreman and crew and send them to where they need to be, while he stayed in the office. Though, Jerry, being used to hard work, did the opposite. He went with his crew to to job-sites and worked with them. He then shortly realized how much easier he could make his crews lives while also saving his businesses money; time is money, right?! This is where we know Paving Pal Inc. began.
After some time of keeping his ideas to himself and not having time to do anything with them, Jerry decided to write them down. After discussing his ideas with a few close friends in the industry and his crew, he decided it was time to bring his ideas to life. It started with the tool box. This is because he was SICK of having to buy his crew new rakes, brooms, saws, and every other tool you can think of because they would get ran over or misplaced along the way. Jerry had one of his shop guys put together a box with slots for the tools in the mean time. Then the details Jerry wanted to add started to flow. With spots for basically anything you can think of to how you would move the box went down in writing. After much more pens and crumpled up paper in the dump trucks, here came along the finished product (at least for now).

The paver then came along when Jerry realized how much time his crew was spending just spreading and evening out the asphalt. This one speaks for itself!
